Hurt Benjamin Sesko to Sit Out Slovenia Games but United Optimistic of Quick Return

Striker Sesko will be absent from the Slovenian national team's forthcoming matches against Kosovo and Sweden due to a knee problem suffered during the latest game at Tottenham. Nonetheless, the club remains hopeful that he could be back in time to play against Everton following the international window.

Knock Details and Recovery Period

The attacker had to come off in the 87th minute of the Saturday 2-2 stalemate with Spurs having been introduced on 58 minutes replacing teammate Mazraoui. Coach Ruben Amorim voiced worry post-match, leading to Sesko's withdrawal from the Slovenia squad.

The club will carry out additional examinations at their Carrington facility this week, but early indications point to a possible return in time for the Everton scheduled for November 24th.

Other Squad Updates

Casemiro and Harry Maguire also had to leave the field during the Spurs encounter. While Maguire's condition remains unclear, it is understood that the midfielder is fit and has reported for international duty with Brazil.

Lisandro Martínez, who has not played after a knee injury back in February, will join the Argentine squad at their training base in Europe. However, the center-back won't play in Friday's friendly against Angola at Luanda. A member of United's medical staff will support Martínez, who has lately resumed work with Amorim's squad.
